Well, we’re going to sign a big guard that will most likely transfer to another school … BUT will eventually go on to become head coach for a DC area AAU team. He is the key. Once he establishes a relationship with the now-10 year old, we will encourage this former player to come to Charlotte as an assistant head coach. As an assistant, he should be able to get a verbal out of the kid in a few years.
I hope Gary Parrish isn’t on to us … and our secret, little plan. muu-hah-hah!

And why is this? Drew Lavender is 5’7, isn’t hurting him too much, Mugsy Bogues, Spud Webb, Earl Boykins, etc. Just because you are short, doesn’t mean you can’t make it to the pros.
