Muhleman's firm, Private Sports Consulting, is focused solely on potential demand for tickets in the $20 to $30 range per game.Luxury suites and other premium tickets have not been part of the surveys because [B]it is likely a UNC Charlotte team would play at Memorial Stadium for a few seasons[/B] before a stadium is built on campus.
I watched some of the CIAA Championship game this weekend, that was played at Memorial. That is a perfect place for us to start out, but it needs some upgrades. Most importantly the scoreboard. I would think that we could work something out with the City/ County about getting a new scoreboard. Between the 3 of us we should be able to upgrade the place to at least get a video board where we could show advertisements. I know they use the stadium for HS games and the 4th of July Fireworks. What else is it used for right now??
Yearly BEER festival and a few concerts/events in the gym.
