I will be in Winston-Salem this weekend. If there are any of you in that area that would like a decal, feel free to PM me. I’ll mainly be in the Lewisville-Clemmons area on Saturday, and the Winston-Salem area on Sunday.

Not to hijack the thread, but they really should have made it the 49ersClub. They always say Charlotte 49ers Men’s Basketball or Charlotte 49ers men’s Basketball team, never 49er Men’s Basketball Team.

I guess they thought it sounded right - the same reason we picked Charlotte 49er Football

I don’t have a problem with 49er Club, except that for continuity’s sake they should have made it 49ers Club. Which sounds bad, but if you’re goint to go in one direction, you should go in one direction.

I personally would have taken Charlotte49ersFootball.com simply for the fact that you would never name a web site SanFrancisco49erFootball.com or MiamiDolphinFootball.com, etc. etc. Niner Nation makes sense because it sounds better than Niners Nation. But if or when we get a team, it’ll be the Charlotte 49ers Football Team, Charlotte 49ers Football.

i personally don’t think either way it would sound bad or incorrect. I am not going to let nitpicking stop a greater goal. Its to late now, the site was created, everything has been ordered. the group felt that49er sounded better, and hey it may even work better legally. i think we all want football, i dont think that the lack of an s is going to change things.
