Sampson uses Curtis in the Ben Wallace role. Heās not going to put up a ton of points on this team. Also, Sampson is using the same rotation stuff he does at Oklahoma. Everyone shares minutes, team concept, etc. Curtis has to get it done on the glass and around the hoop to contribute.
Interesting quote from Sampson on his shooters:
āI thought that if we came out and played really hard the first four or five minutes, we could stretch that lead out.
