No problem for Western Ky. Just let a few random students in without HS diplomas and claim it is an academic matter and out of NCAA purview. Apply the same standard as Cheat.

I am not sure anyone should point fingers. Remember Ivan Benkovic? He played under Alan Major (2012-15) and left us to go back home to Croatia to “play pro ball”. Benk went to the now defunct Evelyn Mack Academy in Charlotte, and that was before Evelyn was arrested in March 2018 for hiding foreign students, “that investigators said essentially boils down to human trafficking”. I think some coaches/schools absolutely know what they are doing with these fake academies, and other stick their heads in the sand and choose not to know. The NCAA is certifying these kids to play, so it may be hard to fault the coaches completely for recruiting them. BTW, I see no records that Benk ever played ball after leaving Charlotte.
Here’s hoping the same fate as befell Major awaits Stansbury. (In reference to Nugget’s post above)
