Wolfgang Zacherl to play for Charlotte

Emerging FBS program Charlotte has added a 2013 verbal from defensive lineman Wolfgang Zacherl (Raleigh, N.C./Broughton), multiple sources report.
Zacherl, a 6-foot-4, 270-pound senior, picked the 49ers over scholarship offers from Army and William & Mary.
Prior to his junior year, Zacherl registered a 5.44 40-yard dash, 4.78 20-yard shuttle and 22.1-inch vertical on the combine circuit.
