We have a theme in this tournament.

Last Saturday we were #1, the regular season champions. As of now we are simply one of 6 teams.

So we have spent this week with a “6” drawn on our hands. The team even went up the hill and put it on administrators’ hands yesterday.

After the 2 matches tonight we will simply be “4” … or the 4th best team (still having something to prove to move up).

So you will see us with “4” on our hands tomorrow night during our match.

I ask that anyone who wants to get involved in helping this theme bring a sign tomorrow night with a “4” on it. Show it with pride … we are no longer #1. We are simply 1 of 4 teams tomorrow night and I know it would mean a lot to the players if you joined in!

Coach, I will bring a sign with 4, write 4 on my hands, and temporarily change the # on my jersey to 4 just for the team tomorrow.

Hardly knew that pillow – arrived at 3am left at 7am
