Your Favorite Childhood candy

Aren't those the same thing as Reese's Pieces?

No, way better. It’s people like you that don’t know the difference that keeps PB M&M’s from having a strong share of the marketplace.

Its been out since 1978. http://www.hersheys.com/products/details/watchamacallit.asp

Holy crap, i’ve been deprived!!!

Damn… NERDS and fundip… forgotten all about that.

and poprocks…

Showing my age here but I used to love candy cigarettes. Yes, they sold those back before the days where we became disgustingly PC. I also used to love the chocolate footballs that came in the little gold foil wrappers. And those little wax bottles that had the juice inside them. I loved biting off the tops of the wax bottles and turning them up for the juice. Fun Dip, Big League Chew (the original stuff), atomic fireballs and those edible dots that were all stuck to a sheet of wax paper.

Damn, I feel old :unhappy:

&

(frozen!)

I’ll show my age: Mallow Cups

Mega Warheads…I used to eat those things till my entire mouth was raw. Good times.

WORST CANDY EVER

Black Licorous…seriously…its the devils candy!

and… lets not forget GUSHERS… although its more of a snack then a candy

Gotta stick with snickers and peanut M&Ms.

Peanut Butter M&Ms have chocolate, right?

Reece’s Pieces do not have chocolate if I remember correctly.

I was talking about the ones that were available up until the early-mid 70's. These were actually modeled after the real thing. You could buy Palmal, Kool, Marlboro, Salem, etc. And they came in little boxes that had the same design as real packs of cigarettes. There were like 20 in a pack, were white and had a red end. I think they were probably pulled from shelves before you were born Gill since so many parents started complaining about them steering kids towards the real thing.

I was a little kid when that happened. I remember my parents refusing to buy them for me anymore after that. Those things were great when they originally came out.

That was just a Urban Legend, nobody died from Pop Rocks and Coke.

I love those candy cigs and the one you could buy that were actually gum, but you could puff on them and smoke(I believe from powdered sugar) would come out. It is interesting that I loved candy cigs, but always hated the real thing.

we stayed away from the candy cigarettes, but we loved these…

ate a lot of these, but never understood what made them different than other chocolate…

every Christmas, always got excited to get more money…

of course, given the status of NASA (I don’t remember John Glenn, but I did watch Neill Armstrong) during my youth, these were the absolute coolest thing you could buy

I definitely remember the little puff of “smoke” from blowing on one end. We used to think we were pretty cool with those things. Though, I guess maybe the critics had a point because I smoked my first real cig around the age of 12 and was up to a pack a day of Marlboro reds by age 15. Happy to say I kicked the habit back around 1998.

I like Oh Henry. But Oh Henry peanut butter… BLEEEEAAAAAHHH

Oh Henry fudge was good though. Too much chocolate at once though.
