I like this kid, he seems very mobile, has a big arm,and steps into his throws. First 2 clips, he makes a 45 yard throw off his back foot and then a solid sideline to sideline throw. I’m slightly amazed he doesn’t has offer from at least the lower level SEC and ACC schools.
“Last fall, he led St. Johns County with 2,327 passing yards and 25 touchdown passes in 11 games. At one point during the 2015 season, Tronti went 129 attempts without an interception. The 6-foot-1-inch signal caller completed 64 percent of his passes and ran for eight touchdowns during his junior campaign.”
“Charlotte just felt right,” Tronti said. “I feel they are on the up and up. The Panthers’ owner (Jerry Richardson) is behind them. … The coaching staff was pretty successful. I feel we’ll get to win some games soon and obviously, I hope to play early.”
PONTE VEDRA, Fl. —Ponte Vedra quarterback Nick Tronti led the Sharks to the first round of the playoffs this season before falling short to Ribault 24-14. And his leadership abilities extend beyond the gridiron, and into the classroom.
He maintains a 3.3 grade point average and hopes to one day attend Boston College or the University of North Carolina.
In addition to football and education, Tronti also finds time to volunteer at Rawlings Elementary school in the offseason
Tronti will play for the 5A Florida state title with his undefeated Ponte Vedra squad.
I hope we can keep this kid because he looks like a baller.
Decent stat line tonight:
Nick Tronti: 16 carries, 239 yards, 4 TDs; 29 of 40, 313 passing, 2 TDs
Tronti had another big day in the state championship game today.
I have a bad feeling that were gonna lose this kid.
I think we’ll keep him. We got him last June with offers from decent programs like App and Troy. A little faith goes a long way. Kid looks like he can throw.
