Gmail is a free, 1 GB online email account - similar to yahoo. However, right now, they are only available through invitations from current members. The invitations seem to be based on how much you use the account (ie, Lutzfan and I got accounts on the same day - I don’t use mine, but he does and he has already received invitations to give out whereas I haven’t). It’s pretty neat, especially the way that your emails are organized.

It should be opening to the public soon. As far as free email accounts go, this seems to be much better than yahoo or hotmail. I’ll let you know if I get any more invites.
