Love this from UofM’s Duane Erwin in the Memphis Commercial-Appeal after the Tigers lost at home to lowly Ole Miss:

“It’s never been this frustrating for us,” said senior forward Duane Erwin, one of the few bright spots for Memphis with 10 points, five rebounds and five blocks. “In the past, even if we were going through downtimes we’d show up to play against Ole Miss or Louisville, especially when they stepped into our building. But this is embarrassing. We’re just out there with no sense of urgency to win or anything.”

So can it get better?

“Yeah, it can get better,” Erwin answered. "It can get a whole lot better if we put a couple of cats on the bench, and get people out there who just want to play and don’t care about scoring. But that’s what it’s going to take. That’s when it will get better."

Hmmm…wonder who he’s talking about?!

Wow. Their team sounds like ours two years ago. Lot’s of dissent in the ranks.
