2005-2006 basketball schedule

scary.

Aye it is.

Okay, if everyone is keeping their traps shut, then I’m in.

Has it been announced where the BCA tourney is being held yet (vegas, elsewhere)?!?! are the 11/16 - 11/18 dates permanent??

If not, when will that be decided??

I would like to know as well. I would love to go-ahead and start planning a Vegas trip…

Still no word on the Gazelle Group website about their 2005 tournaments.

These people need to get their shit straight and let us know. I’ve already got a group of 5-6 interested in going that 16th-18th. Although its odd that those dates are in the middle of the week. I thought most of the tournaments fell on the weekend. We might be going reguardless. But Niner basketball and Vegas would be a marriage of two beautiful things.

Edit: Last season’s fell Wed-Fri, so I guess midweek isn’t that unusual.

A lot more than 2 beautiful things, Anborn.

If it’s Vegas, CharlotteAlum is not drinking with me. But maybe all together we could win a jackpot and endow a scholarship, better still - startup finds for football!

FWIW, I’ve left messages with 2 people at the Gazelle Group. If any info comes from them I’ll post it.

Jackpots for Jockstraps? I wonder if the school could market a student trip that way

Last season’s Gazelle Group tourneys were not weekend affairs.

The BCA Classic in Milwaukee (Marquette host team) took place on November 14-16, 2004 – Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

The BCA Invitational in Raleigh (NC State host team) followed on November 17-19, 2004 – Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

The Guardians Classic finals in Kansas City were played on November 23-24, 2004 – Tuesday and Wednesday. The regional rounds were played on November 15-16 – Monday and Tuesday – and were hosted by Creighton, Mizzou, and Ohio State.

BCA Classic - Pitt, UNLV, other, 11/16-18/05

these games are wednesday through friday not a weekend thing

I’m going to ask off of work now for 11/15-11/18. That way I can go 11/15-11/20.

Just reading about the 05-06 UMass schedule, which was supposed to have included a home game with Miami-FL. Looks like the Canes have asked out of what would have been a return game to Amherst after the Minutemen played in Coral Gables last season.

That got me to thinking. Clemson backed out of the 3rd game of a 2 for 1 series with Charlotte after the Jeff Mullins-led Niners ended a long-running Littlejohn Coliseum winning streak versus non-ACC opponents

I wouldn’t be surprised if Wake finds a way to weasel their way out of a return game to Charlotte in 06-07, especially if the Niners win in W-S in February.

Still waiting for that ā€œchickenā€ Lute Olson to bring Zona to Halton… :ticked: :cuss: :tool: :knob:

OK, so this Vegas possibility is killing me. Somebody figure this thing out - and quick!! This could be the first time I get to see the boys in person since our 40-point whitewash of Long Beach State about 3 seasons ago.

The more West-Coast games, the better!! Of course I’m just a little biased. And I love craps. Is that so wrong?!?! Just a four-hour drive away. If it is Vegas, I am SO in!!

What is the penalty for that?
