2008 Anaheim Classic finalized

Basic cable, not digital

It is ONLY available (last time I checked atleast) on Digital Cable, not “standard” cable, which is what I have. I still have like 80 channels. I’m not going to upgrade just for ESPNU.

I'm not going to upgrade just for ESPNU.
Not having ESPNU is a great excuse for going to Picasso's to watch the game.

I’ll be at my parents place for Thanksgiving and they have TW. Is it like DTV, where you can upgrade for a month and then downgrade? With DTV, I add the sports pack during b-ball season, then drop it after the season. It’s $12 per month. Is TW similar?

yes, and it’s just a couple of bucks extra per month, as in $2 or $3 if I remember right.

Just get it for those 3 or 4 months then cancel. I add and delete crap all the time to my channel lineup.

I don’t think thats right, because you have to move to the digital tier (much more than $2-3) to get the ESPNU.

If you have the DVR package you have EspnU with TWC

Well, I was assuming that you already have digital, which by itself is only $9.99 more per month. Then I forgot that they added to the basic digital package. For some reason I was getting it confused with some of the other add ons. My bad.

screw cable - I’ll be at one of the Niner bars

We are losing some ground on the team vote to Cal-State. Take a minute and vote twice!

If we play them, it won’t be until the last day unless the schedule has been changed.

After reading this. We gotta beat ASU.

[QUOTE]4. Anaheim Classic, Nov. 27-30, Anaheim, Calif. (Arizona State, Baylor, Cal State Fullerton, Charlotte, Providence, St. Mary’s, UTEP, Wake Forest)

This field is nicely stocked with three on-the-rise teams from major conferences (Arizona State, Baylor and Wake Forest) and two of the better mid-majors (St. Mary’s and Cal State Fullerton). It’s also a summit for elite guard play, with All-America candidates James Harden, Patrick Mills, Curtis Jerrels and Josh Akognon. This would be a good place for Harden to prove that all the NBA scouts’ rave reviews of him from the LeBron James Skills Academy were deserved.

Projected winner: Arizona State. The Sun Devils aren’t going to be an NCAA bubble team this time

I mentioned this before back when this tourney was first announce but I’ll make the offer again.

If there are 2-3 niners that want to come watch this tournament I will offer a place to stay for the weekend. Not only do you get to see the tourney but you get to stay in a house on the beach in Newport Beach (about 10 mins from Anaheim). There are tons of fun things to do… including grilling out on the boardwalk and drinking beers watching the pretty ladies walk by  I could possibly even pick you up/drop off at the Orange County “John Wayne” airport. U just have to buy tickets and your food…

If anyone is Interested then PM me.
