La Salle will deal with Charlotte at home on Wednesday in what should be a somewhat routine victory for an Explorers team that is a perfect 12-0 at Tom Gola Arena.
On the positive side, Ian does select Javarris Barnett among the "Heat Check: Who's Hot" players this week.
Over at CCT, Braswell makes the “Who’s Hot around the Atlantic 10” list, while Derrio Green gets a “Big Miss” in Ian’s review of his preseason conference player position picks.
At this point it would seem that Holton and Anthony are locks. Then Wells and Wright may be near locks. So that would leave 1 open spot. If Henry ends up leading the conference in steals, while his other stats stay similar, I think he gets the nod. If they go by position and team performance, it might go to Anthony Lee.

Plus this from CCT, with both Nolan and Tift contributing this week. The former mentions Bona @ Charlotte as a “winnable road game” for the Bonnies, while the latter takes a look at next season (“Braswell will be the best offensive post presence in the conference, and with plenty of pieces returning beside him, the 49ers should crack the top-100 in the RPI and explore some postseason play.”)
