And the first pink slip of the season goes to Kevin O’Neill at Southern Cal. Assisant Bob Cantu named interim.

Think Terrell and Stewart are wishing they didn’t go to the west coast now. Stewart not getting much run at all.

Per the thread in the A-10/C-USA Forum, Blaine Taylor out at ODU.

Another coach bows out.

Reggie’s a good guy, but they could never get over the hump in Buffalo (came very close to the NCAAs a few years back). Side note–they had a nice rivalry going with Canisius (my alma mater) and came out on top most of the time.
Still, it looks like the new AD wants to raise the team’s profile. Reggie should land on his feet somewhere either way.

Does Lutz find a HC job this year or wait? If NCSU makes a run in the NCAA I think he lands somewhere.

I think they would need a run for him to become a hot name again, because their season was quite a disappointment based on expectations and a good start.

I honestly think last season was his opportunity to go, his name was hot again, but maybe he thought it was more important to stick it to his alma mater.

If I was Lutz I wouldn’t even look at a HC job until the Charlotte money stops coming in. I mean, unless it was a great opportunity, why all that stress when you already getting paid?
