I said before the tournament that I would be satisfied with 2-1. I would absolutely love to have this game (as we all would), but ultimately I hope we show we belong on the same floor as a high quality, B1G opponent. GO NINERS!

We have been impressive in early tournaments the past two seasons, but we caught a break both times by Northeastern defeating Belmont in the Great Alaska Shootout and then obviously Georgetown the other day.
Still, we have been really impressive and playing Michigan is going to give us great exposure. Let’s hope we put in a strong performance.

I think Michigan has enough weapons they’re going to be able to free up their shooters and it will make it tough. Hopefully our perimeter D gets better or they have an off night.
If we really want to make the tournament this year, then we should show we belong in this game. Michigan is good, but I don’t think they’re up there with the top teams, so there’s no reason Charlotte shouldn’t be competitive in this game if we’re going to be a tournament team. My suspicion is that we’re not quite there yet, but hopefully i’m wrong.
Belfast Mill in Latta Arcade (Uptown Charlotte) has agreed to reserve their upstairs bar for us to view this game! We will be privileged to a private viewing on their projection set up, no ACC etc interference!
Remember that the meter parking is FREE uptown on the weekends (as long as there is not a ‘no parking’ bag on the meter)!

Belfast is a great spot and the owner is awesome. Great that he is supporting Charlotte sports.
I am hoping for a single digit loss. Anything up from there is really impressive. Expecting a 15 pt loss.
