Then add 30 min for the change. Donāt people have to leave and then let people in for their seats? Either way I thinks itās 30 min.[/quote]
There was no re-admission between games.

Thanks 2k! Is one considered better / safer than the other?
Awesome win. Things are looking up for this season!
Major haters go away.

i watched the game. this was not an upset. we were as good or better than michigan.
I started this tread when no one else seemed to want to. I was very disappointed in a lot of the posts. Iām glad our players didnāt have the same feelings as our fans. I read over and over that the theme of this tournament by coach was mental toughness. This is why we wont against NE and why we won tonight. It as first mental toughness and then physical toughness. Probably the reason for all the fouls. Iāve never been a big fan of Major but I really think he outcoached every team in this tournament. It was well warranted this win. I really felt at heart we would play a good game and we did. It was a rough and tumble on both sides, wish the reffs would have let it looser but thought it was even even though they called crappy fouls. The fouls might of played against us on depth but I think we played balanced enough that it wasnāt a factor. As the announcers said about us⦠NE could of should of won that game against us⦠UM should of could of and should of won the game against us. This is college basketball. We donāt get the chances very often to play these teams⦠this one not for some 36 years. There is a greater lesson here but for now it is 2-0 against the University of Michigan. I hope that they would like to schedule home and homes against us and win back a game or two.
To my knowledge. sokool was the only Major āhaterā, but what is wrong with some of our fans being unsure if he was the coach we needed for the next 5 years?
Besides, this is NINER Nation, not Major Nation.
With that said, the coaching staff did an excellent job in this tournament and deserves recognition.
Agree.

I think some of our fanbase is really impatient and doesnāt know what building a team looks like. You have to get the right people first. I believe Major is doing that, and I have for some time. That doesnāt mean heās flawless or anything or a great interview or salesmanā¦but I think winning is more important than all of that. Not all of our fans understand these concepts.
Iāve seen growth in our team every year and thatās great. I canāt predict the future or be sure we will always get the right players and put them in the right position (and there are things that we do every game that I question), but I think the coaching staff has earned their paycheck these last 3+ years.
All that said, I watched the last 5 mins of the game again this morning. Really proud. Brought a tear to my eye to see all the guys so excited and happy for each other. Especially T Will. Really happy for him. He hung in there and won the game on a great second effort. (He got fouled on the first attempt by Mcgarry, btw - watch the tapeā¦clearly gets slapped on the off arm).
