2013 Roster still up.
Anybody want four tickets to the spring game? I’ll be out of town.

All right. What’s your e-mail address? The tickets are in 111, row 9 seats 7 and 8 and row 10, seats 4 and 5.
I’ll also give mine to anyone who wants them assuming I can get them in time to mail them to you.
If you have your Ticket Return account, just go to print them, which bring up a .pdf. E-mail the file and you’re good to go.
I have probably 8 tickets to the spring game. None of us can go.
I’ll take 4 of em off your hands if you like.
I’d like a couple of them if you still have some.
I hope they split it fair this year. Last year was boring with the rout.

It should be closer this year though. There will be more scholarship players playing against each other.
It’s hard to tell much from these types of scrimmages, but I am anxious to see how Barden looks out there.

(Thought it was a basketball post…)
Is it true they don’t want a crowd or is that complete BS?
I wonder if baseball, softball, or men’s or women’s tennis is playing Sat. afternoon. It would be a boost to attendance to schedule a game for right after when the Spring Game should be over.

I hate that we’re doing this the same weekend as the final four.
Complete BS. The Spring Game has a bunch of sunk costs with parking attendants, security, referees, A/V staff…the list goes on and on. Does it make any sense to you that they would want to minimize the $10 tickets they sell?

I think the truth is they want it to be a success, but are not going to market it to anymore than the core audience. This should make sure it is a success, recoup investment without making it bigger than they want which requires more investment. FWIW That word came from someone who was supposedly in a meeting at the AD where that was said, but I can not vouch for the validity because I got it second hand. It makes sense though if you think about it because it isn’t like we have seen much from a hype, sales or excitement point of view. We have gotten a few emails and that is about it. I think they want it to be a success, just not something huge.
