Week 9 includes one Niner PotW and the Niners contributing to an opponent being named PotW.

In Saturday’s high-scoring affair with Charlotte, Taylor scored 24 of the Herd’s 110 points and pulled down a season-high 14 rebounds. He was 9-of-14 (.643) from the field and was credited with three assists, two steals and one block in 33 minutes of action. This is Taylor’s first C-USA Player of the Week award of his career, but he was recognized twice as a C-USA Freshman of the Week.

The true freshman point guard tied his career high with 14 points in a win at Charlotte on Thursday only to eclipse that two days later with 21 points in a victory at Old Dominion.
Week 11 a good one for Niners! And LA Tech’s DaQuan Bracey could be setting up as the frontrunner for C-USA Freshman of the Year with back-to-back honors to add to the one he garnered at the beginning of the season.

For some reason thought a Niner or two - considering the performances of both MBB player Austin Ajukwa and WBB player Ciara Gregory over the weekend - might be POTW, but that’s not the case for week 13.
