Bowl Game-W
Clt, will we cover the spread on Oct. 29?

I believe a realistic record would be 5-7.
I’m not saying I’d like to see that, I’m hoping they go 6-6 but now that they have played most of these teams I think it’s a fair prediction.
The losses would be Louisville, Temple, FAU, FIU, Marshall, SoMiss and Middle Tenn.

The Florida schools could be the wildcard.

Looks like we are on the road during fall break and race weekend. Good work!!

Fall break is October 10-11 and I beleive the fall race is that weekend too.

Yes, the Bank of American 500 is Saturday, October 8.

despite our school’s graphic, UTSA is away. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

7 games against teams that didn’t bowl. If we want to bowl, there are 7 opportunities to get 6 wins.

I’m guessing night game against ODU. Homecoming against FIU.

Spring Game - April 23, 2016 at 7:00 pm.

I am thinking the same thing. 5-7, 6-6 is doable this year for the Niners. Would be happy with either record. I could see us competing and beating either FAU/FIU though. One of them I think. Unless they’re both supposed to be improved we had FAU if not for all those interceptions.
FIU I think is a loss, but being at home who knows.

I like 6-6 and a bowl trip this year. I think we have an opportunity to make a big step forward this year.

I think a good QB will do wonders for this team.
Heck even a mediocre QB, could help give our RBs some room to breath and give the defense time to rest.

+1 YES!

I think QB play is the big factor. Assuming every other category is equal to or better than last year (defense etc), and we do end up with good QB play, I see us at 8-4.

The right QB and we are 6-6 at least I think. QB play KILLED us last year, not just poor play, but inconsistent play. Constantly switching one out for the other ruined the flow of the offense at times. I hated it.
A bowl game in year #2 would be awesome for Charlotte and truthfully I think it’d send a message to the other schools in NC that we are here to win.

I’m remembering what also KILLED us was our D giving up big TD plays when we were seemingly in control. The odu heart breaker comes to mind.

Don’t even get me started on the ODU game, but you are right our D gave up touchdowns at points in games where we had the game in hand. ODU was a perfect example of that.
