The Appy’s hired some guy from Presbyterian College on Thursday, and they have posted 41 messages on his thread since then. Between their $250k HC budget and this enthusiasm I think it is clear they have no interest in being a multi-sport program.
Dustin Kerns has definitely hit the recruiting trail running at App State. As I posted in the 2020 recruiting thread, he has already offered four that either we have also offered or are watching.

Is he out there recruiting, or simply offering kids that we did in an effort to get some irons in the fire?

I don’t think that has anything to do with it. He’s new in a spot and more times that that you will see quite a few offers head out almost immediately.
