To start 2-1 and then lose 4 in a row and then bounce back with 4 wins a row is huge.

Defense gave up 2 fg all day and shut them down. What a defensive effect and a huge turnaround from start of the year. Offense just kept grinding all day and opened holes when needed. Tucker was great, but we have a bunch of receivers that can play.
Coaching was outstanding. The officials seemed like they were at another game and was awful at the start of the game.

David Scott of the Observer is a Niner hater. If you read his article it makes it sound like we were lucky to win with the int and fumbles. He did not talk about the ints we had plus the outstanding defense.

In point of fact, Charlotte was the better team today and it wasnāt close. We should have won by more than we did.
Scott hates us, but I no longer care.

A couple final thoughtsā¦
THATās how you go bowlingā¦you go earn it by beating the league leaders convincingly on our turf. We didnāt backdoor inā¦we didnāt beat a scrub team to get in. We nutted up and beat one of the top programs in the Conferenceā¦again, convincingly.
I cannot put into words what this type of close to the season can and will do for whatās left of our recruiting this cycle.
We gonna go bag some more studs and start taking this thing up a few notches!!!

We need to petition the Charlotte Observer to get another reporter. Scott has always been a Niner hater plus he is a lousy writer. How he keeps his job Iāll never know
What s great day to be s a Niner, we dominated them but the TOs kept them in iit. Up yours to all the haters! We beat the #1 team in the conference to get bowl eligible.

F$%K the Observerā¦theyāve treated us like that for 20+ years. Never covered us when we were a perennial Top 25/NCAA basketball team either. I am so glad they are all losing their jobs and are going bankrupt.
Maybe EMBRACING the local school would have been a smarter strategy in hindsight huh??

You cannot watch that game from kickoff to end and say we didnāt deserve to win. Should have been a tied ballgame at worst going into the half. Then we dominated the 2nd half
