Troy beat App & Coastal beat Georgia State pretty easily according to the final score. So it’s not like those are really good Sunbelt teams. I just can’t understand what is wrong with this team. Why can we play 1/2 to 3/4 of a game & look pretty good & then crash & burn. It’s the same story almost every game. It typically happens even when we win. The offense seems to flow pretty good & something changes making it impossible for us to score. It’s been happening for over 2 years so why can’t our coaching staff figure this out.

I have not been in Sanchez’s corner after the OOC showing we had, but I would have happily taken 1-1 against WKU if you asked me a week ago. I do think we could have won both games if we had more scoring participation in game one, but once the ball is tipped he can’t make it go through the hoop. Last year we went 3-11 on the road, so next week we have to find a way to beat a 6-2 (probably 6-3 coming off two losses to LA Tech) team on the road. If we can go 1-1 there I will take it, but this is the year to make our move. 2-0 next week and people start to talk about us.

With the way the conference schedule works, this is tough. I hate having 2 weeks in between games
Maybe we can get a game, would serve us well the way we are playing. Who’s got an opening?
This is so disappointing. We have to wait almost a week between games and then have this one canceled (or postponed). I hope this doesn’t affect any momentum we had after beating WKU.

Maybe the team can spend this time working to integrate some of the new players into the lineup.
