Trapp is just bipolar I suppose. Imagine if he provided some offense in the 1st half.
Trapp is a one on one player stuck in a strict offensive scheme
Trapp was hit and miss with Clemson too though
We are still competing! A little luck and we can get the victory.
Let’s give this team some credit!
Great play call and execution by Wake. We played much better in the 2nd half. Need to get that play the rest of the year.
8-15 Ft comes back to haunt us
Young was really awesome tonight.
Trapp 2nd half is really what we need every game.
Braswell played well and 3 huge blocks. His 1-6 from 3 was disappointing in such a close game. We needed some of those.
Shitty result. Team has shown us what they can do, just wish they could play with the effort like they did in the 2nd half consistently. Took them getting dunked on 20 billion times before they woke the f#$k up. I think that’s a reflection on the coach. Coach Sanchez - your job is on the line, you need to motivate your team. Let’s do this the rest of the year.
If we had played like that for 40 minutes that would have been the best basketball I have seen a 49er team play since at least 2005.
I was entertained for most of the 2nd half. Been a long time since I could say that.
I would like to see this team learn how to bring that level of intensity every game, for 40 minutes. They will beat a lot of teams if they can manage to do so.
This…you could tell early on that IF we got it close, free throws would come back to haunt us. If we hit our average on free throws, we win the game.
We play like we did in the second half we’ll win a lot of games the rest of the year. First half was terrible. Williams for Wake is really damn good player.
Damn that last shot hurt. Such a let down.
Yeah that Williams kid is really good. We had to play him the way we did at the end. Just bad luck on the last shot.
Saw @NinerWupAss and Jimmy T several times cheering hard.
I only watched the 2nd half so I am biased towards when we played better. It felt like young was a little more alpha-y this game, it was cool to see him hit a lot of big shots on a big stage.
I know we always have a knack for allowing opposing players have career nights (trend in football starting too this past season), but I thought Williams looked like an NBA player. I just checked a mock draft that I didn’t see his name listed on through the 2nd round but I expect him to make an NBA roster next year.
Have to say, that was actually kind of fun to watch. Credit to the team for clawing it out. Dare to say, I was entertained?
Grace said Healy and his son Eli were at the game screaming and fussing at the refs. That’s pretty cool to hear.
Don’t get me wrong, emotional loss. However, that may be the best game played in a long time. Was that more coaching, or more just players gaining grit and heart?
“Failire does not exist, we just grow”
Easy for someone to say with a mil unpaid on contract and under .500 overall.
