That La Tech loss stung. They had that one. I still don’t understand what happened on their end of game FG attempt. Did it get blocked?
I think the LA Tech kicker just shanked it. Not sure why Skip Holtz was so conservative on that last drive thinking a college kicker could hit a long kick to win the game in that hostile environment.
Illinois gave UTSA a $1.1 million payout…will our check be congruent with that? It’s now going to be much more difficult game in Champaign after that loss to a g5.

If not for FCS competition, C-USA most likely would not have finished .500 in Week 2. A perfect 6-0 versus the lower level while just 1-7 against FBS foes. Conference not doing anything to dispel the notion that it’s the worst in football.
