That sack was courtesy of two of our linemen just touching the guy instead of engaging him and freaking blocking him. Game over.

Probably not making a huge difference at this pointā¦but taking the play clock to 01 on that punt, could we not have saved 20 seconds there? Our time management and use of TOs are questionable for a lot of games this season.

We should have been up two scores at half, I think we win if we were. Second half they imposed their physicality and we had too many mistakes. I want to be encouraged by our effort but Iāll wait till tomorrow for that. We could have got a win here but didnāt.

Unfortunately it may be a little too late.
You know itās coming and there is no one at the end to turn that in.
They wore us down in the 2nd half, we needed to be up more after the 1st. Against a big ten team to hang as we have Iām not all too disappointed.
Itās always frustrating when we had the game in hand in the first half, but we have to remember the same coaches that ālost itā for us in the 2nd half put us in that position in the 1st. We just donāt have the depth against a big ten team.
Run defense is straight up piss poor

What I loathe about this defensive scheme is off tackle on 3rd and 10 has a legit shot of picking it up.

Take away the 80 yard run and they still ran 41 times for 212 yards.
Bottomline- we should have won that game. No other way to look at it. Missed FG to tie then an 80 yard TD. Woulda, shoulda, coulda, Go Niners! Letās kick FIU butt. I donāt think we have ever beaten them.
