In Hattiesburg, probably would have this season, even though we pretty much owned them historically in Reed Green.
Just looking over USM’s sked - 15-0 at home, while 8-7 on the road and 0-1 on a neutral court. Won at Vandy by 12 and also at Liberty. So yes, they would have steamrolled us in Hattiesburg. In Halton, who knows?!

Thought FAU might have blown it when they were up 62-60 with the ball and then committed a turnover that led to Memphis regaining the lead on a 3 point play. Whew!
Wow! What a win…. Memphis beat Tulane by like 40😳 and Houston by 20😳
Actually beat a Sasser-less Houston by 10.

How could this team who won the regular season and tournament championships in a CRAPPY CONFERENCE get to the Sweet 16? Impossible.
On another note, that last fau attempt at a windmill slam dunk when fdu quit playing D at the end was classless. Glad he missed it, but there will be lots of chatter about it on the TV and interwebs.
