Just now seeing this from yesterday:
Katz has FAU as a #11 seed, same as Memphis.
The F-Us in a tight one in Miami:
Was trying to determine if UNT has begun classes for the spring semester but website is crap on that point. Anyway, small but boisterous crowd at the Super Pit for the W!
So maybe the FIU loss wasnβt as bad as it felt. Theyβve been giving teams all they can handle.
FIU is a head scratcher. That team is bad but is playing even with the top teams in CUSA. Weird.
If FIU could win away from Miami, would certainly help their ranking. Have a couple of all conference-type players in Denver Jones and Arturo Dean.
Parrish has FAU at #23 in his daily rankings:
Yep and itβll be sweet to beat a top 25 team in Halton again !
If it happens, and I think it will. Hope our students donβt rush the floor.
Why not? Rush the court. Make that memory! Get hooked on that feeling!
I agree. At this point if we beat a ranked opponent, rush the court.
I think for people that saw us beat ranked teams regularly there is a tendency to gate keep that action by setting who is worthy and who is not. Reality is this generation of fans needs that experience. Moments like that is what can turn a student into a fan for life.
