The NET, like the RPI before it, is used only to help “power conference” schools make the tournament.
If a non power league team has a great NET ratings, it is completely ignored.

Memphis #29 vs #33 FAU is just further proof that the non power schools are being paired against each other early to eliminate one. Same with VCU and St Mary’s.

I hope every, every low seed wins in first round. Would be a hoot and would let people know that you do t have to be in power 5/6 to ball.

Not a surprise that the Holes won’t play in the NIT. The administration has nothing to gain and the players have been brainwashed into thinking they are above it.

Not a surprise that on the women’s side CUSA is also dissed. MTSU an 11 seed. The league is weak, but MT individually deserves a better seed than that, Having said that, I won’t shed tears if they lose in the initial round.
