Crap. Coppin State has fallen apart in OT.
Valiant effort though.

clt says Georgetown wearing jordan brand is embarrassing
Coppin probably wins if they had fresh legs not playing back to back nights.
Gee thanks for bringing this up. I decided to catch a few minutes and Favidson scored 6 in row to narrow the gap. ![]()
The audio is crazy out of sync too.
Yep, the 21 point deficit is now 9 midway through the second half.
SOUTH DAKOTA.
Why do these obscure schools land quality big men and aside from Khalifa, we struggle so hard to?
And, of course, Davidson rallies to tie and send game to OT. Left at least a dozen points at FT line, including an uncharacteristic 3 misses by Loyer.
“How to blow a lead” starring Wright State in the role of App women.
Cats trying to return the favor in OT.
Wright State goes on 7-0 run to send it to second OT.
Meanwhile, South Dakota State opens up 8-0 lead on Boise State.
Monmouth trails Seton Hall 36-17 at halftime.
“Foster Loyer”
Has there ever been a more Favidson name?
I don’t care what else we do, there is no way we let that twerp beat us. I want Sanchez to grow a pair, and challenge our best defender to do what Lutz told James Zimmerman to do to Brian Wardle: “Don’t you let that S.O.B. score a single point”… And he didn’t! JZ shut him down.
Loyer had 8 pts (2 threes and 2 FTs) in the game last year.
And yes, I want payback for that shitty loss. I almost don’t care what else we do in nonconference as long as we punk the lolcats.
Loserville is living up to their name against Bellarmine. Down 32-18.
Once again Withers is the only bright spot.
FWIW, Foster’s younger brother Fletcher Loyer, a freshman at Purdue, led the Boilermakers with 17 pts in their season opening win over Milwaukee.
As a reminder, Bellarmine won the ASUN last season but was prevented by current NCAA rules of transition from participating in the NCAAT.
I forgot wright state and the goose killers both made the tournament too.
I’ll give Louisville credit for playing crosstown foe Bellarmine. UD “too good” to do the same with Wright State.
Legit LOL at Bellarmine’s online roster:
Okay, so I thought he was one of the coaches’ kids…
Turns out there’s a much more uplifting story than that:
Seth’s battle with leukemia began with his diagnosis the day after Christmas in 2018. After initially responding to chemotherapy, he relapsed quickly setting off an arduous treatment journey that has included two bone marrow transplants (with donors being brother Max and an anonymous donor) and trips to children’s hospitals in both Cincinnati and Philadelphia.
“The cancer has been hard-hitting, and Seth has had a lot of treatment in a short amount time,” said Michelle Walsh, Seth’s mother.
A humanized, CAR T-cell treatment that is still in the trial phase and not yet FDA-approved was Seth’s last treatment three months ago. Tests just prior to Memorial Day, show that he is in total remission but remains in palliative care.
