Round two vs the Blue Raiders (11-7, 4-3 C-USA; NET #125).

First, the good news: Niners have won 2 in a row vs MT, including the 82-67 victory in Halton on December 29th.

Now the bad news: MT leads series 12-4 and has won every game (7) played in Murfreesboro.

Anyway, to say that MT has been erratic this season would be an understatement. Only conference team that has lost to doormat UTSA, while beating preseason favorite UAB last night. Currently tied for 3rd in C-USA (with Rice with the tiebreaker if needed having swept the Owls this season).

Last 4 games have eaten into what ever room for error we had. Quickly becoming must wins

Very challenging 7 game stretch till mid-February, standing at 3-4 currently… have to go 4-3 to get to .500 in conference, 5 road games and one of home games against UAB.

Is getting to .500 in conference good enough for mid Feb??

Yup, if we come out of this road trip 0-3… Sanchez doesn’t deserve next year, he will still get it, but Halton will be empty.
