Khalifa (POTG) said in the postgame that Threadgill was throwing up yesterday and even did again at halftime tonight. Said they really missed him and Millicic.
Khalifa believes we are as good as any team in this league.
Sanchez says he will âkeep those comments to himselfâ concerning the refs.
We arenât going to win them all. We werenât at full power, on the road vs another solid team right before Christmas and sucky refs. Thatâs a lot to overcome. We lost to a good team not a bad one. Learn from it and move on.
Matt commented towards the end of the game that we look like a top 4 team in C-USA. Have to agree with that assessment. Hopefully weâre back at full strength next week vs MT and LA Tech.
How important are these next two games now? Both are home games against competitive teams, have winning records, to get the conference record moving in the right direction.
never gets old until someone comes along and surpasses it, like it or not those were the hay days. we were nationally relevant, on sports center etc⌠the only espn love we get now is the bottom 10 in football. We have hope recently in the football program, change it and we will follow
IMHO
Down 2+/- puts us in a bad position. Hard to win without your best players. Itâs out of our control. If we remain healthy, we can win this conference.
If I would have known we were going to be down Igor, have a throwing up Threadgill, and Aly feeling under the weather, then I would have expected to lose by 20 to UAB. Credit to the team for fighting.
