I’m fearing that we’re just good enough to win 19 games, no post-season, and Sanchez keeps his job for another year.
I have no good feelings about basketball. I’d love to be surprised with a top 4 conference season.

Schedule may be a bit tougher than we first thought.
I still think we tried to schedule some easy Wins.
Seems like lots of pressure now on the OOC schedule/results, see how Hill has sequenced his strategy on bball with the mid season firing in Football.
First AAC bball class will be signing mid November…
Should head to Conway 2-0. Hopeful we’ll be 4-1 after the MBI. Of course, if we win the tournament, then I will have to reassess everything!
Anyway, definitely should come away with Ws vs the MEAC duo, Presby, and Detroit Mercy in Halton. Not so certain about the away UDM game. The latter’s Antoine Davis could end being the second all-time leading scorer in college MBB after Pete Maravich if he matches his career average of just under 25 ppg this season.
Ive tried really hard not to let myself get excited for this basketball season. I am sick of the continual cycle of a Charlotte fan - excited before the season, delusional defense of losses early in the season, acceptance of mediocrity (plus or minus) by the end of the season, then talking myself into next year. I thought I could at least skip the first step for basketball this year, but I can feel myself trying to talk myself into us exceeding expectations this season.
The only positive of the low bar thats been set is we have a better chance of exceeding expectations this year at least.
