I like that uniform as well, but I do wish the helmet logo was in a more appropriate (match the green on the jerseys) shade of green.

Just listened to the podcast above. Was nice to hear it so positive after the win. Bobby and Al do a good job with this - so give it a listen if you haven’t already.

For those of you that are not familiar with the Brandon Burlesworth story, below is the short documentary that ESPN produced about his life. Since Chris Reynolds is now the second Charlotte 49er to be nominated for this award (Alex Highsmith being the first), it may be worth your time to watch these short videos.

ESPN: The heartbreaking story of the greatest walk-on ever, Brandon Burlsworth | College GameDay

Greater Official Trailer 1 (2016) - Neal McDonough, Nick Searcy Movie HD

Nick Searcy is the actor/producer that played the part of the antagonist in the movie, Greater, about the incredible Burlesworth story. Brandon Burlesworth was a walk-on, earning a scholarship sophomore year, all-SEC his junior year, and All-America his senior year. He not only earned his undergraduate degree with honors, he earned an MBA degree at Arkansas as well. He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts. Eleven days later, he was killed in an automobile accident.

Most of his accolades were listed with his name, of course, on his tombstone. However, the message was at the bottom of the tombstone: β€œOur loss is great, but God is greater.” The name of the movie came from this message.

Watched that movie with my family. It was pretty good. I felt bad because as a Vol fan, I lost my mind when he tripped Stoerner and the Vols recovered. That was the moment that saved their national championship run. To see the story behind the player made it hurt that much worse.

Nice to end CUSA play with a win. With the win verse LA Tech yesterday we beat every team in CUSA at least once with the exception of UTSA.
