2022 College Football 🏈

Good news is that last week at coaches show mike said we are ahead of where we were last year.

To get those season tickets up we need:

  1. Winning - this town loves a winner
  2. Student Environment - Man we have nailed this last 2 years, as those students becomes alums that will translate to tickets
  3. More ticket options - One of the drawbacks with a small stadium is limited options with pricing

clt says the students will be even better after the new tailgate area opens. shorter walk to the rich means more trulys, claws and shots

Hooking those students into coming back around is the trick, the university was not doing much as I graduated. Hopefully they’ve upped the sale and are communicating better.

clt assumes we will play eCu on thanksgiving weekend starting next year

  1. A round of applause for East Carolina, which did the impossible for a non-Power 5 program—it scheduled four straight home games to start the season. The biggest is the first, with North Carolina State coming to Greenville.

First of all, Screw Mike Houston and ECU.

But that’s damn impressive.

Does that mean next year they play a road heavy OOC sched?

Hmmm.

Prior to our move to AAC, their 2024 schedule looks downright perfect to me. Well if I were them I’d wanna open at home, but otherwise…

Reminds me that we both have open dates to fill with the conference move. Wonder what we are doing to fill them?

Really bad news for Wake Forest. They were expecting a big year. Best of luck to Hartman with whatever situation he is facing.

clt says it is going to be hot in eCu for those first 4 home games

Located on both ends of the stadium’s west side upper deck, The Balconies at Davis Wade Stadium will provide occupants with what will essentially serve as an in-venue extension of a tailgating scene

there will be storage space allowing you the ability to bring in your favorite beverages and food items during balcony servicing times. You can also cater in food using MSU’s premium caterers at an additional cost, but it’s not required.

Premium seating in the upper deck. Wow.

That is awfully high.

I predict little policing of rules of conduct in these balconies.

Well played.

How many guys (like @hootie?) would prefer to bring their tailgate into the stadium? Booze, food and all?

It would depend on the set up I suppose. Wouldn’t be opposed to it at all
