I thought perhaps Davis would promote him after losing assistants to LSU and NC State.
His adversarial relationship with Judy, however justified, probably doesn’t help.

If in 5 years we are pretty much where we are now then yeah I’ll agree. Biggest difference is mikes been in the job for 4 years with a global pandemic taking up a chunk of that. Judy had decades. I also have zero faith Judy would have gotten us into the AAC.
You might be correct but we did start football and were admitted to D1 before taking a snap so I’ll give her a bit of credit
I’m not really sure Mike had to do a lot to get us in the AAC. We pretty much fit right in with the group of schools they took from CUSA. It seemed to be completely based on taking the larger market schools from the conference. ODU being the only exception & I think they shot themselves in the foot by skipping a year of football during Covid.
clt says odu would be a likely call up to the aac
