Yep, if you had told me those things happened, plus Cye wouldn’t hit a shot all night and UTSA got Ivey-Curry back and he scored 20 pts, I would have said, that’s an L.
I’m not negative though. Bad nights happen (Cye)… other guys stepped up (Millicic, Folkes, and Jackson). Even in terms of FTs - Graves was a killer down the stretch from the line. Iced the game.
I like the way we are playing lately with the noted dry spell issue sorely needing to be addressed. Also, were we getting out rebounded that badly in the first half? It didn’t feel like it.

We played weak under Ron. I don’t think we were putting in the work that we are now. It feels like we are a much more physical team this year.

Ron seemed like he played the same way no matter what. Too stubborn. Was so frustrating to watch.

Yeah I had to go back and edit that post to include him. 
He is doing the radio POTG interview and said UTSA gets frustrated and then they don’t play defense.
Zay said he had multiple concussions and ankle sprains this off-season and is finally almost 100%.

My thoughts from the game:
This was probably Folkes best game this year. When he was guarding Curry, it was much tougher for him to score. I know he got a couple of buckets on Folkes, but most of the damage was when others were guarding Curry. Only if Folkes could shoot.
Igor and Dishon played well also.
Thought the team looked tired towards the end, but we the offense at the end was very stagnant. Cannot have scoring droughts, but the defense was outstanding.
I do agree we are a 2 guard away from being a tournament type team.

Not as good of personnel this year but a much better team and much better coached

Is that true about talent? I liked Aly and Brice, but we didn’t really have Braswell and Dishon is a factor.
I’m not so sure the talent gap is that big. Especially with how much Graves has improved.
