These boys are playing to their fullest potential and have me more invested in Niner Basketball than Iāve been in decades. I just watched a road game (which I normally skip) and it was enjoyable and exciting. We punched them in the mouth to start, held strong in the first half with a big three at the buzzer, never lost our cool in the second half and won wire-to-wire on the road in a game where we were the underdog. Love this team, love Fearne and dammit, the NINERS ARE BACK!!

Those St Louis games were just brutal that yearā¦ā¦beat us by 18 in regular season and then 17 in Tourney. Not pretty losses.
Itās awesome that we have a full week off and ECU still has to play tomorrow against Temple and Wednesday against USF. Letās sit back and watch!

What a win! I felt strange watching this game, instead of figuring out how we were going to lose I enjoyed us slamming the door shut every time Tulane made a run. Big win on the road that sets up an event at Halton next week.

The three by Reiber was huge. I know he has been inconsistent but they were making a run and that shot killed that run. Big free throws at the end as well. This team has shown a ton of growth. We would have lost this game in early December.

After the OOC concluded, I thought at best weād be 4-4 at this pointā¦glad to be proven wrong. That was a satisfying winā¦this team may not win every one, it may even stumble once or twice, but it plays with heart and I wonāt blame effort or desire if that happens. Iām gonna savor this one for a week!!

IS there a visiting team presser from the road?
No. There are occassions they catch Fearne in the hallway outside the locker room for a quick video of post game thoughts that they upload to YouTube. But it doesnāt happen all the timeā¦but have seen a few of those after certain away games.
