I was curious how long it’s been since we’ve enjoyed a 7-game win streak (or longer), particularly in conference play.
Going back the past 25 years, I counted only 4 times:
1998-99: 8-game win streak (combination of conference/CUSA championship, and 1 game in NCAA)
2001-02: 7-game win streak in conference
2004-05: 7-game win streak in conference (plus a 9-game win streak earlier in season)
2009-10: 7-game win streak in conference (then finished out the season 1-8)
Let’s not bring up the 2009-10 season.

I went to the Tulane message board and checked someone who complained “now we are losing to CUSA teams”.
I tried to post and remind the guy that this is the third time we have been conference mates and charlotte has a winning record over Tulane.
The post had to be approved by one of their moderators.
Went back to check just now and they didn’t let my post through and deleted it.
They are weak as water on that board.
