Thatâs interesting. I was at the game and plan to watch tonight (in part because I wanted to hear Bobbyâs interview). As far as hurt feelings go, I heard an interview with him 6-7 years ago on WFNZ and you could tell there was still a lot of anger/hurt feelings then. Sounds like that relationship is getting better with our current AD which is great!
The atmosphere was amazing today and best I can remember since mid 2000âs. Our students deserve some memories like this one. I am glad I bought tickets for this one back in the fall. This team never quits fighting and look forward to seeing the next month.
The Lutz interview was just after the under 12 timeout in the first half. Great interview and nice to have him back. It will really help bring back the glory days of this team. Evidence of it today coming full circle.
Best day I have had in a long time. I know we old timers remember the good times in Halton fondly but today wow! As loud as I can remember in a long time. Props to the students. You guys were amazing. Keep bringing it! Go Niners!!!
Just echoing everything already said here. For this olâ NINER todayâs game was so enjoyable on many levels. Glad to have been there. Itâs great to feel so unbelievably good about NINER basketball again after so long.
Hah when the students were chanting âJust like footballâ a ECU fan angrily screamed âWhat about by baseballâ. Man if we get over that hump this year there will be a meltdown of epic proportions.
What a great day in Halton. Now the young people donât have to asked how it used to be, theyâve experienced it. Awesome raucous crowd.
I just watched the after game press conference. I was struck by how much better the answers were than the questions. Câmon reporters! Come up with something better than âhow does it feel?â
I wonder what Igor was pointing out to Coach on the stat sheet there in the beginning?
