Hoping our guys take advantage of the good sleep they can get tonight. SMU/Temple are not going to have an early night…
Yeah the team we play tomorrow will be playing till nearly midnight. In bed no earlier than 1 probably.
If it’s temple, which is looking unlikely early, they will be on their third game in three days.
We need to come out on fire and full of defensive intensity and mental toughness. If we come prepared we should definitely have an edge over the guys playing tonight.
This is great for us. Temple is a much better matchup for us than SMU. Temple is shooting well and SMU isn’t. I’m guessing Temple won’t shoot well back to back so we need to show up and handle bizness.
We haven’t won a conference tournament game in ages, let’s do this!
Why isn’t FanDuel showing the game? Hopefully they add is today. I didn’t see the SMU game last night on there either. This is the AAC dammit! Stupid.

In the regular season game at Temple, it was tight until about 5 minutes left, Niners opened up a 13 point lead, then Temple went on a big run and cut it to 2, Milicic went 1-2 ft, then Temple had a chance to tie it at the end with a 3. Hopefully not so close at the neutral tournament site, though their guards got called for a bunch of fouls in this game. Not sure that will happen with the way refs have been calling it so far this tournament. Going to have to handle the rough play a little better than usual and hopefully Patterson is back in form after his big game at ECU.
Patterson seems to be the one most easily rattled by foul calls. Need him to maintain focus.
We’ve only won 3 conference tournament games since 2006 and 2 were in 2008.
Getting the double this season should count as a win.
