Refs giving quick fouls on Graves plus injuries to Folkes and Jackson made it basically impossible to win this game. We looked completely different with Graves and Jackson in the game.

It look like they were taking Jacksonās pulse earlier on the sideline.
I thought he might have hurt his wrist.
Maybe so, the camera shot just looked like the guy was taking a pulse more so than checking the wrist.

- fearne isnāt able to work the refs as a interim coach, lutz would have went crazy
- this team can finish top 4 in the AAC
- hope duke beats UNC CHeat to a pulp
With fair officiating we keep it in within ten. Weāve got a ways to go but love that they didnāt quit.
Unfortunately the game is over. Only way to win now would be hot shooting and thatās not who we are.

Yeah, Iām pretty sure they were checking his pulse. He was wincing and holding his head earlier in the game so I think he was ill in some way. Maybe a migraine or something similar.
Lost by 24, but the game felt (and was) much closer tban that. Completely one sided officiating in the first half ( and a few really poor calls in the second half) and us missing too many free throws and 2 footers in the 2nd half killed any shot we had. Could have easily been a 5-10 point game down the stretchā¦we scored 5 points in the last 7 minutes.

The horseshit charge on graves that took away an and 1 situation was a complete momentum killer. We never recovered.

That charging call against Graves. Announcers trying to convey that it was a bad call without going so far as to actually say it.
About the officiating two words: Ted Valentine. Why is that guy still allowed to call games? One of the worst of all time and still allowed to call some big games.

Agree on ref bias. I counted 3 times play was over, we had rebound and they blow the whistle and say there was a shooting foul. Totally bogus
Key was The 4th āfoulā on Graves. He made the shot and would have had the and one to cut it to 10. Instead basket waived off and they hit a shot to make it 14. Never got closer.
We just missed shots and they didnāt. They hit 10 3s and 28 free throws.
Braswell had a terrible shooting night. We are a different team when Jackson is down low. He is too much for most big men.

Our 3 spot kills us a lot. Woulda shoulda, but damn if we had Brice on this team, we would be solid.

Yes, would be nice to have a couple of āmissingā pieces but canāt assume it would have been any different. Huskers were undefeated going into their home game vs Creighton last Sunday and the Bluejays won by 29. Brice had 6 pts.
