I grew up loving Bobby Knight and Dean Smith, they had contrasting styles and personalities, but the one thing that they had in common was that they both would make you not only a better basketball player, but more importantly a better man
I have no ties to Indiana, the university or the state, but I always pull for Indiana basketball because of Bobby Knight, he was a tough disciplinarian, outspoken, brash, and temperamental, but he won, graduated kids, and made his players better people than they were before arriving at Indiana
