One of the all time worst. The fact that Valentine works at all, let alone during the NCAA tournament, tells me he knows where the bodies are buried.

Absolutely WORST, behind Wertz, I have seen. He is a “flow ref”. He either kills the flow by calling fouls where he is completely blocked out of being able to see or he calls foul after foul if a team is playing well to support their flow.
I wince every time i see him take the floor.
WHY is he still employed at the college level, i had Y refs way better than him

Imagine the mental gymnastics required to think that mid majors aren’t good enough to get auto bids but also wanting them gone because you’re afraid of being upset by them.
Upsets will probably get less likely by the low majors anyway as the power 5’s and upper level mid majors suck away all their talent with NIL money.
They’re the new farm system. P6 s are the majors. We are playing AAA in the aac, a10, MWC, and Wcc, the other g5 football conferences are AA, and the rest are playing single A ball.

I’ve been calling it the Junior Pros. It’s very lame. I haven’t watched the NBA since the original Hornets left. I won’t have much interest in the Junior NBA.
