I like the move towards better tempo and not surrendering the offensive glass, but is this roster suited to play that way? I really liked Khalifa, but there is no way he could have played in Fearne’s system. We have a bunch of height on this roster. But can they run well enough to crash the glass and still get back on D?
Also, since Pierria is chillin, any way we can sneak him into a game jersey? Wouldn’t be anywhere close to as bad as what a bunch of other schools have gotten away with.
Im going to go with Graves. He looked like a freshman last year, but he showed moments where he looked like he would be a good player for us. I think he will make a nice jump this season.
He showed promise his first year here. Shot great from 3 and made some decent drives to the hoop.
I had high expectations for him last year and he didn’t play well before going out for the year with injury. I’m not sure if he had a lingering g injury that impaired him at the beginning of the season or if it came later, but he really seemed to regress quite a bit from the previous year.
If he can get back to his first year here, I’d feel a lot better about the season, and if he can improve on that, all the better.
