I love this kid. He has blossomed into a fantastic player and so glad to have him as a Niner!
We have an NIL collective for basketball as of Tuesday. See the NIL thread.
Id recommend everyone go give this a listen and not just the Twitter clip. Click on the full 30 minute video, the first 7-8 minutes are discussing the Niners. Nice to see out of a local news show. And the anchors sounded enthused about the Niners and reminiscing of the glory days in the original cusa and how this team could be special like those.
Well that would be a change. Kyle Bailey is the biggest ACC homer ive heard on local radio since Fudge Packer.
Mark Adams is the first part of this segment.
Edit, here is the audio:
Probably won’t listen but curious to know what the worst take ever on Bryce Young is all about. I hope it’s not that he’s the worst traded up for #1 pick in the history of the NFL…because that’s what he is.
clt says dont forget about Young’s salad
That’s great. I see him stepping up as a leader on the court and now off the court and it’s great to see him having success.

It’s been feeling like we get so many more blocks in a game this year compared the prior few years. So, I looked it up.
Our block percentage is up from 238 to 102 from last season to this season. We have some different players for sure, but I really attribute the difference there to attitude.
Attitude has also positively affected rebounding as well, it seems.
Attitude and mentality toward the game has completely changed in this team. Yes we lost Brice and Aly. But the ones that stayed are not playing the same. You get rid of the handicapped play that was wanted by previous head coach and look what happens. You can tell the guys are playing with an edge. They are playing like they are having fun again. I absolutely love this team and can’t wait to see what the future holds. Driving to the basket, going down low to Igor and Dishon, and the defensive intensity has made this an awesome team to watch. Chemistry was an issue in OOC but that is always gonna be the case with teams that go through what this team has. The past several years I would watch the game but as soon as we would get down by double digits I would give up. Not this year, I have watched the games from start to finish. Lets Go Niners!!! Keep this fire going!!!
Williams we miss. We play a better game without Khalifa to me. DJ is a significant upgrade at that spot. Can play a lot faster with him
I’ll add to that. DJ is also becoming a better passer. At the beginning of the year, he wasn’t looking for or hitting any of the back doors from the high post, and he is now doing it and looking for it. It tells me two things…
- He is not content with his game, so he is working on his weaknesses.
- He is gaining more confidence in the aspects of the game he’s working on.
This also has to do with coaching. I watch the players on the bench when Fearne is talking to them, and they are listening and making eye contact. Last year, whenever Ass Clown was talking to players on the bench, there was no eye contact and it’s like they were standing there listening so they wouldn’t get in trouble.
