Separately, you have to admire those crowds up in the Northwoods League! There’s no doubting the preeminence of the Cape League when it comes to overall talent, but Northwoods venues tend to be larger and rowdier. Both are exceptional summer leagues; and, if you find yourself vacationing in either area, you should make a point of taking in some games. It’s really high quality, wood bat baseball.

The Northwoods league seems like a great place for baseball. Looks like they get bigger crowds than many minor league games.

We have a very strong group of catchers with Lastres, Hopson, and Tyndall. Hopson and Tyndall have been in our system for 2 years now and Lastres has been working with a team that was 1 win away from a national title in Omaha. Offensively, we have a RHH, LHH, and a switch hitter.
