Rice’s Friday guy looks pretty good.
Yes, we might be in for a pitcher’s dual tonight. The most ER he’s allowed in a game this year is 3.
Fish in right.
Some people love these pitchers duels. Im not one of em. 0-0 headed to the B5. 13 straight Charlotte batters retired. Their starter is good obviously, but he already has his career high strikeouts in a game…and we are only through 5.
Headed to B7…Jake and Cam are a combined 0-6. All strikeouts.
Great win by the men! 1-0 over rice.
Hudepohl pitched a hell of a game!
Major break there in the bottom of the ninth. Poor baserunning.
We’ll take it !
Stats took a hit, but any W is a good W !
Those breaks have mainly gone against us this year. About time we got one.
Jake Cunningham with the game winning RBI!!
Another great effort from Hudepohl!!!
The good news is that they don’t have another pitcher like the one we faced tonight. Let’s go take the series tomorrow!!
And after 3 strikeouts…he and Stahlman made it happen at the right time.
It’s worth noting that Parker Smith has a 1.79 ERA and has given up just 6 extra base hits this entire season. He’s good.
Bam Bam Cunningham 2R
So, how we feeling?
Niners take game two 4-1.
Great! Doing what we need to.
We got the series!! Now a chance for a road sweep. That’s a bonus!!
Can’t ask for more on the mound. Hansen was good, Spoylar was spectacular, and Donye closed it out.
Niners taking care of business so far today. 6-0 in the 6th.
Stands are really packed there behind home plate.
This sweep puts us in a favorable position to finish third in CUSA. Realistically, that’s about the best we can do at this point.
Back to back bombs by Fisher and Butcher. 14-2.
Crushing Rice.
