Quick good and bad bullet points on the season (based on no more than feeling as a fan)
- CUSA is 9-1 in postseason so our 9-11 record is not as bad as I originally thought (still not good)
- I’m glad they won and this could be a building block (not pillar) for next season if we stay together
- This does not feel like a 20 win season even though tonight was our 20th win
- There was a time when we felt anger when referred to as Mid Major, we’ve really fallen
I’ll be at Belfast and if someone tries to turn it on I’ll respectfully ask them to change it Twilight or This is Us.

Haters just keep hating on these kids and the coach. Just give up the hate for a while and enjoy watching kids play the game. We all know it is the CBI. But the Niners are playing and I will always root for them to win no matter what.

One positive note. This is the most discussion on this board about Niner basketball this late in March since Price was fired.
I don’t think it’s haters hating. It’s fans that arent confident that Sanchez is the coach that takes us to the ncaa tourney after 6 years at the helm. After 5 years sanchez hasn’t finished top 3 in CUSA and 0 wins in the CUSA tourney. What makes anyone think he’ll compete for AAC championship next year? Sanchez defies logic and wins next year or Mike Hill wasted a year of our life. Sanchez will be fired after next season if he isn’t after this season, that’s my projection. So wasting a year annoys me.

I think everyone gets the point of how some people feel, but my irritation with it is why does every single thread about basketball turn into a repeat of Fire Sanchez. There is a thread dedicated to it and the same arguments there are bing made here.
It would be nice if someone could talk about the games without the insistent of others repeating how Sanchez should be fired or repeating their disdain we are playing still. There is really no need to remind people over and over how they feel in every thread.
I quit watching games on TV and we have won every game I haven’t watched. I watched the cusa tournament game second half. So yeah I don’t want it on a tv that I can see. It’s a meaningless exhibition but I still want us to win. Ron sucks and needs all the help I can give.
