Mashburn transferring to Temple for his final season a real head scratcher. If he had stayed at New Mexico, would be on the first place team in the Mountain West thatโs going dancing as either MW tournament champs or as an at large. Guess the money is better in Philly than it is in Albuquerque.

New Mexico most likely has more NIL than Temple - MUCH more - and with Mashburnโs father being worth around $100M, not like anybody was going hungry etc. Could be he wanted a change of scenery and definitely got that!
Good piece about Mashburn. Seems heโs been dealing with turf toe. Also learned about a connection between his father and Temple HC Fisher that gave the Owls an inside track on recruiting Mashburn after he graduated from New Mexico. No indication on whether heโll be able to play on Wednesday.
